Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California. The one and only daughter of Richard McCormick. Her father taught school, while her mother stayed at her home. Michael, Dennis, and Kevin are her three oldest brothers. McCormick was a gifted performer and dancer at an early age. She would perform puppet shows to children from her neighborhood. When she was just six, McCormick won at the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest. This led her to get a phone call from Pat Domigan at the Jack Wormser Agency to inquire if the young girl would like to pursue careers in the entertainment industry. McCormick was chosen to play her first role of note during 1964. McCormick appeared in a Mattel commercial featuring an adorable doll named Baby Pattaburp. The same year, she appeared in a second commercial for Mattel's doll "Chatty Caty" and soon was cast at La Jolla Playhouse for the role of the oldest daughter on the upcoming TV sitcom called The Brady Bunch. McCormick was portrayed as the youngest of three daughters who had two heads on the TV comedy The Brady Bunch. Florence Henderson was the main character while Robert Reed was the father. This show lasted for five seasons. McCormick in her autobiography Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice published in 2008 revealed that, during the 5th season of her show, McCormick almost lost her love for her brother Barry Williams. The actress was sixteen years old and the actor was 19, at that moment. "It was possible," she said, "but it was not the time right for us."
